Job Description NON-CDL DRIVER Job Duties - Responsible for delivering and servicing all Eagle Rock Distributing Co. products within assigned accounts
- Merchandises and stocks all coolers to effectively increase sell-through of products
- Manages, rotates, and maintains a neat inventory in each account
- Provides excellent customer service to accounts, effectively resolves concerns or issues with professionalism and in a timely manner
- Honors all personal and business commitments to all customers
- Operates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all traffic regulations
- Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, POD’s collected and all related paperwork.
- Completion of daily DOT pre-trips and post-trips.
- Other duties as assigned
Education And Experience - High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver License and DOT medical card required
- Clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years required
- Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities - Must have excellent customer service skills
- Requires a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to meet company MVR standard
- Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers
- Must demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectively
- Able to quickly learn product and account characteristics
- Must be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
- Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize available resources to solve problems
Physical Demands And Requirements - Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hours
- May require sitting or standing for extended periods.
- Regularly lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance
- Occasionally requires the ability to lift over 170 lbs. with or without assistance
- Requires pushing and pulling of loads up to approximately 350 lbs. with or without assistance
Environmental Conditions and Temperament - Job duties are performed in warehouse, at loading dock and inside and outside retail buildings.
- Exposure to outside weather (heat and cold), walk-in cooler temperatures, exposure to fumes, vibrations and noise levels.
- Ability to maintain a professional image in public eye while performing the duties.
Compensation And Benefits Compensation: $45,000-$47,500 per year
(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level) This position is eligible for the following benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Basic AD&D Life Insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Spousal Life Insurance, Child Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 401(k) with company match.
