Role: Assembler I
Location: Pomona, CA - 91767
Duration: 12 Months
Assembler I will support the manufacturing process by setting up equipment, performing assembly, packaging, inspection, and routine maintenance. The role requires following written instructions, basic troubleshooting, and assisting with equipment and quality improvements.
Responsibilities:Perform assembly, packaging, prep, and line clearance per documentation and QSR.
Assemble, repair, inspect, and test products.
Assist Engineering/Maintenance with troubleshooting and equipment repairs.
Complete accurate documentation for products and maintenance.
Conduct routine equipment cleaning/maintenance.
Handle hazardous waste disposal.
Support continuous improvement (5S, OEE).
Assist with new equipment installation/validation.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, and Management on improvements.
Follow company policies, quality systems, and compliance standards.
High school diploma or GED.
0 3 years related experience.
Basic communication and writing skills.
Ability to follow instructions and troubleshoot routine issues.
3+ years in medical device manufacturing.
MS Office skills.
Knowledge of FDA, ISO, OSHA regulations.
Basic understanding of manufacturing systems (documentation, compliance, inventory, scheduling).
