Job Description

Description We are seeking a skilled and collaborative WordPress Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves working across multiple departments and project teams to deliver high-quality WordPress solutions that align with business goals. You'll be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, plugins, and themes in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience. + Customize themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements. + Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers across departments. + Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. + Implement SEO best practices and accessibility standards. + Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs. + Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team meetings. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: + 3+ years of experience in WordPress development. + Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL. + Experience with custom theme and plugin development. + Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations. + Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and security. + Experience working in a matrixed or cross-functional team environment. + Excellent communication and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with WooCommerce, Elementor, or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). + Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows. + Knowledge of Agile methodologies. + Experience with performance optimization and analytics tools.
