Job Description

We are searching for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Full-Time & Part-Time Winery Tasting Room Host. We are seeking a person who will posses previous hospitality experience and superior customer service skills. The ideal candidate will possess a positive and outgoing demeanor. Weekends and some holidays are required to work. 

• This position entails commissions, bonuses and room to advance forward to extend your responsibilities at the Winery. 
• This position offers a great opportunity to learn every facet of the wine industry. It entails weekend hosting and educating our guest about our wines while building our tasting room and wine club business.

• Provide outstanding customer service to all guest while describing the wines, winemaking techniques and winery history to guest.
• Cultivate long term relationships with customers and club members to keep them coming back.
• Be comfortable asking for the sale and having the ability to operate cash registers / POS systems
• Answering incoming phone calls, assist and maintain stock of clean wine glasses, buffing glasses and bussing tables.
• This position will require day and night shifts depending on the events that will take place during the upcoming weeks.
• Taking guest orders for food & wine, then handling & serving food products to the guests
• Perform other duties assigned by the Tasting Room Manager

• Having some background and knowledge of the wine industry to educate and talk with people.
• Computer literacy, self-starter, clear communicator, positive team player and a multi-tasker.
• Must be highly motivated, independent, yet able to take direction.
• 1-3 years retail sales, food & beverage service and / or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time and you must have a valid driver's license. 
• Must be 21 years of age to apply to this position
