Northrop Grumman Missions Systems Sector seeks a **Senior Principal Business Development Operations Analyst (Level 4)** to support Mission Systems Sector strategy, government relations, program management and business development operations. The **Senior Principal BD Ops Analyst** reports to the Senior Manager, Strategy and Business Development and will be located on site in McLean, VA. This position will interface with sector staff and division staff to execute program management and business development activities in accordance with sector processes, manage data and metrics, and conduct analysis and research to support development of sector priorities. The position will also lead planning, to include preparatory materials for site visits (external and internal) and customer engagements as well as maintain data quality metrics in SalesForce. **_The candidate will manage or conduct the following activities:_** + Develop key messages and associated supporting materials, in coordination with sector and corporate staff for customer engagements. Ensure customer engagements align with Sector strategic goals. + Maintain meeting and event records using various tools, such as Salesforce. Track and execute follow up actions. + Lead planning, message development, and support execution of visits to Mission Systems facilities. Help ensure integration of sector priorities as well as broader Northrop Grumman priorities, taking into account the customer's interests and goals. + Work with government relations, corporate communications and other Northrop Grumman sectors to advance Mission Systems programmatic and business development interests. Drive coordination amongst the different corporate stakeholders. + Through market research and analysis, guide execution of sector business development and strategy priorities. Manage any outside consultants assigned to support these efforts. + Perform other operations & integration activities, as needed. + Maintain a level of discretion and confidentiality when dealing with special projects. **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related professional experience or a Master's degree and 6+ years of related business development integration and planning experience. Years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree. + Experience creating executive level briefings as well as experience interacting with senior level leaders + Experience with Salesforce. + Ability to navigate different types of organizations and embrace a collaborative, teamwork approach to challenges. + Excellent critical thinking, organization, communication, and relationship-building skills. + Ability to manage expectations and activities of cross-matrixed teams and stakeholders. + Capability to set priorities and work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment + Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. + Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance + Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. + Familiarity with Salesforce. + Ability and willingness to travel 15%-25% of the time. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Current active DOD Secret or Top Secret security clearance + Professional experience in Aerospace & Defense + Experience working with Members of Congress and staff, senior Executive Branch customers, and senior international customers. + Excellent problem solving and organizational skills. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. Primary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
