Title: ServiceNow AppEngine Developer
Location: Remote
A ServiceNow AppEngine Developer leads the design and development of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on App Engine capabilities and technical leadership, including Now Assiss AI.
Below are the typical responsibilities, qualifications, and skills for this role:
Key Responsibilities
Lead development of custom applications using AppEngine Studio and Templates.
Design and implement complex workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts around core ITSM module.
Establish coding standards and best practices for the development team.
Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance and code review feedback.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the ServiceNow platform.
Participate in architecture and solution design sessions with stakeholders.
Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Familiarity with source control, SNOW test automation and deployment tools.
Qualifications
~3-5+ years of ServiceNow AppEngine development experience.
~ Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and limitations.
~ Certifications, such as, Certified Application Developer and/or AI
~ Experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations
~ Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
