Responsibilities

• Prepare and support consolidated financial statements
• Lead critical portions of the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Prepare month-end close entries, including accruals and amortization of prepaid expenses
• Reconcile significant accounts at month-end and resolve any reconciling issues.
• Provide opinion of interpretations of accounting pronouncements as applied to operations accounting.
• Maintain and balance the consolidation system by inputting journal entries and verifying system data
• Analyze financial results and create supporting reports using Excel and other tools
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and assist in implementing procedural changes
• Research and resolve accounting issues as they arise, providing data-driven answers to internal stakeholders
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to document requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end processes
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working in SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation range based on experience, $50,000 – 70,000 + bonus!

This is an onsite role in Las Vegas Metro.
