Job Title: SAP HANA Test Lead (Insurance Domain)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HANA Test Lead with extensive experience in both functional and technical aspects of the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will lead testing initiatives for the migration of SAP Callidus Oracle to SAP HANA on GCP, ensuring seamless integration with multiple upstream and downstream systems including Agent Onboarding, Licensing & Commissions (ELC), Compensation Management, and Policy Administration platforms (ALIP, Navisys).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end functional and integration testing for SAP HANA solutions.

• Design, validate, and maintain test strategies, scenarios, and documentation.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand:

  • Agent onboarding & lifecycle management

  • Licensing & Commissions (ELC)

  • Compensation and incentive structures

  • Policy data including premiums, refunds, riders, waivers, annualization

• Support integration of ALIP and Navisys systems with downstream SAP modules.

• Oversee testing of inbound & outbound data feeds including:

  • DTCC, APAY XML, Payryte, K51

• Validate reconciliation reports and analytics dashboards.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards in all test cycles.

• Support SAP GL accounting processes and financial reporting validations.

• Troubleshoot defects and drive resolution with cross-functional teams.

• Drive data mapping, transformation, and validation across systems.

• Manage defect lifecycle using test management tools and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 12+ years of experience in SAP testing, including Test Lead roles.

• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA development, data modeling, and validation.

• Proven experience in Insurance domain business processes.

• Expertise in ELC (Licensing & Commissions) and Compensation Management; Callidus exposure preferred.

• Hands-on experience with ALIP and Navisys Policy Administration platforms.

• Experience with SAP GL Accounting, Reporting, and Analytics.

• Strong understanding of XML, flat file, and proprietary data formats.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and commissionable events in insurance.

• Excellent test case design, execution, and defect management skills.

• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GCP migration and cloud-based SAP implementations.

• Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and analytics platforms.

• ISTQB or other testing certifications.
