Poised to be one of the most anticipated openings of 2025, this new concept will redefine fine dining in LA through innovation, elegance, and hospitality at the highest level. We are building an extraordinary team to launch this landmark project—and are seeking disciplined, passionate Pastry Chef de Parties to help bring it to life.
As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be entrusted with the execution of plated desserts, breads, petits fours, and other sweet elements with precision and creativity. You will contribute to an elegant, thoughtful pastry program that reflects Chef Crenn’s distinctive voice and style. This is a rare opportunity to shape a world-class pastry offering from day one.
Position Summary:
The Pastry Chef de Partie is responsible for the consistent, high-level execution of a specific area within the pastry kitchen. You will work closely with the Executive Pastry Sous Chef to ensure each creation aligns with the restaurant’s exacting standards of artistry, technique, and flavor. This role demands focus, finesse, and a deep commitment to craft.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute mise en place, prep, and service for your assigned pastry station with speed, accuracy, and care
• Ensure every dessert, bread, and petit four meets exact presentation and flavor specifications
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards of the pastry kitchen at all times
• Collaborate closely with fellow pastry cooks and the savory kitchen to ensure timing, cohesion, and guest pacing
• Maintain a strong sense of timing and awareness during service, contributing to seamless kitchen flow
• Participate in daily pastry tastings, kitchen meetings, and post-service debriefs
• Uphold and model our core values of respect, hospitality, creativity, and excellence
• Be a brand ambassador, embodying elegance, finesse, and innovation in everything you do
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining or Michelin-level pastry kitchen
• Mastery of fundamental pastry techniques, precision plating, and station organization
• High attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure
• Passion for pastry, flavor development, and hospitality through your craft
• Familiarity with seasonal ingredients and a curiosity for technique, balance, and innovation
• Available nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
