Job Description

NICU Nurse Manager - Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Join a leading healthcare facility as our next NICU Nurse Manager, where you'll lead a dedicated team of professionals in delivering exceptional care to our tiniest patients. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational management in our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Director to align department activities with facility's strategic goals and mission
  • Lead and mentor a team of NICU nurses while fostering a culture of clinical excellence
  • Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Oversee clinical operations, staffing, and resource management
  • Implement evidence-based practices and evaluate care effectiveness
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Women's Services Units
  • Provide hands-on clinical support and expertise to nursing staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact License (must obtain TX license within 60 days)
  • Minimum 2 years recent NICU leadership experience as Manager or Charge Nurse
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities
