  • We are hiring immediately for full time MECHANICAL INSULATOR HELPER positions.
  • Location : Quantum - 5001 Blue Mound Road Fort Worth, TX 76106 (Openings at other locations within school district available)  Note: online applications accepted only .

  • Requirement : Trade work license or certification required. Similar experience is required. Vaild driver's license.
  • Pay Range: $18.00 to $21.00

Job Summary

Summary: Assists with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the building and campus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in installing insulation on pipes, ductwork, tanks, and other mechanical systems under the supervision of a lead insulator.
  • Hold, measure, cut, and prepare insulation materials such as fiberglass, elastomeric, and foam.
  • Help secure insulation using adhesives, bands, wires, and fasteners as directed.
  • Assist with sheet metal jacketing and cladding installations.
  • Learn to read basic blueprints and understand mechanical system layouts.
  • Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
  • Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
  • Notifies managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
