Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) Upstate South Carolina | Hybrid or Remote | Independent Contractor (1099) iTrust Wellness is a leading psychiatry practice offering comprehensive, individualized mental health care in Upstate South Carolina. We’re seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) to join our psychotherapy team as an Independent Contractor (1099).
Position Overview In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, personalized therapy services to a diverse client base. We offer schedule flexibility within our business hours and multiple work environment options, including fully remote or hybrid (remote and in-office) arrangements. You’ll have access to a steady flow of referrals and full administrative support, allowing you to focus on clinical care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our EMR system.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain an active, unrestricted South Carolina licensure.
- Carry professional liability insurance.

Independent Contractor Details This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not a W-2 employment role. As such, you are responsible for managing and filing your own taxes, maintaining your own professional liability/malpractice insurance, etc. This position does not include employee benefits such as health insurance, PTO, or retirement contributions.
