In this role, the successful candidate performs a review of billing errors and edits for a facility. This position will be responsible for working clearinghouse rejections and making sure claims are billed out within 24 hours **Shift** : Monday to Friday **Location** : Remote **Key Responsibilities:** + **Review Billing Errors** : Analyze and correct billing errors and edits related to a medical facility + **Clearinghouse Rejections** : Work on clearing house rejections and ensure claims are billed within 24 hours. + **Demographics Entry** : Accurately enter patient and guarantor details. + **Insurance Details** : Ensure correct entry of insurance information. + **Charge Entry** : Enter charges with all necessary details like date of service, providers, procedure codes, and modifiers. + **Productivity and Quality** : Adhere to productivity and quality standards. + **Process Improvement** : Suggest improvements and forecast workflow challenges. **Qualifications:** + **Experience** : 2-3 years in medical facility billing. + **Healthcare Billing is required** + **Education** : HS Diploma. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. + Knowledge of medical coding and billing systems + **Technical Skills** : Proficiency in Excel, payer portals, and claims clearinghouses. **Additional Duties:** + **Root Cause Analysis** : Identify and address the root causes of issues in accounts receivable. + **Regulatory Compliance** : Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations and payer-specific requirements. + **Problem Solving** : Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness in resolving accounts and meeting standards. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to meet productivity and quality standards. **Salary and Other Compensation** : The hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 - 21.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
