Working Conditions

  • This position is eligible for a hybrid telework option, in accordance with CAL FIRE’s telework policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
  • 10% travel may be required for (but not limited to) training and offsite meetings and can occur multiple times annually. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word) is required.

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

Statement of Qualifications Instructions

All interested applicants must file an "Examination and/or Employment Application (Std. 678), a resume, and a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). Statement of Qualifications Guidelines

The completed SOQ shall not be more than one (1) page, single-spaced, with 12-point Calibri font. In the top left corner of the page, include a title, “Statement of Qualifications”, and your full name. In your SOQ, number your responses and include the question prompt prior to each individual response to clearly indicate which SOQ number you are responding to. A notation or reference to other materials such as resumes or applications will not be considered and will not substitute for the SOQ.
