Teaching Assistants at AIS have a passion for working with students in a multicultural community and are always seeking new ways to personalize learning. With a transdisciplinary focus, AIS teaching assistants also integrate innovative learning strategies while working with a diverse student population.
JOB PURPOSE
The Early Years Chinese Teaching Assistant collaborates with 2 full-time teachers in a classroom for 3 and 4-year-olds. Teaching assistants help in implementing curriculum and offer ideas and suggestions regarding classroom instruction. Teaching assistants foster an intentionally inclusive atmosphere where all students feel a sense of belonging through the lens of inquiry in a play-based environment.

Reports to: Head of Primary School
Start Date: August 11, 2025 (immediate start if appointed before this date)
