In this role, you will oversee assigned warehouse facilities while managing vendor relationships, contracts, and related costs. You’ll act as a critical liaison between internal teams to ensure strong communication, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies—particularly SOX requirements—while delivering a high level of service to internal and external customers.
Manage procure-to-pay (P2P) processing for all warehouse vendors, including issue resolution and accurate accruals.
Coordinate new plant setups and master data updates with IT Business Support and Master Data teams.
Partner with re-supply, shipping/receiving, account managers, customer service, and inventory control teams to maintain accurate inventory records across all locations.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including the timely resolution of product quality issues.
Collaborate with Inventory Accounting teams on monthly inventory reconciliations to support monthly and quarterly close requirements.
Ensure accurate reporting and ongoing compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Negotiate vendor contracts and manage supplier relationships, including cost tracking, issue investigation, and resolution.
Coordinate annual warehouse weigh-ups and manage shrink reporting.
Track inbound rail and barge shipments to minimize inventory shortages and work with warehouses to mitigate risk.
3+ years of experience in inventory management, customer service, and/or supply chain and a Bachelor’s degree , or
5+ years of experience in inventory management, customer service, and/or supply chain with a high school diploma (considered in lieu of a degree).
Contract negotiation experience.
Working knowledge of entry-level accounting , including accounts payable.
Strong ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization and with external suppliers and vendors.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs, manage multiple priorities, and deliver excellent customer service.
Strong collaboration, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
