Big Inc , a local FedEx Ground contractor, has recent openings for delivery drivers in Willmar, MN.
Most FedEx-branded trucks are operated by one of ~6,000 independent FedEx contractors-not corporate employees. Big Inc is proud to be one of them. In just four years, we've grown from a single contract to the second-largest FedEx contractor in the nation, with 11 contracts and over 175 employees. Our goal: 45 contracts and a 700-person team within 10 years! That's where you come in!
Our full-time delivery drivers deliver to local residents and businesses in the Willmar area. You will be operating out of the FedEx terminal at 3105 Trott Avenue, Willmar, Minnesota, 56201. At Big Inc, we reward discipline and promote from within (90% of our managers started as drivers). Responsibilities:
- Arrive at FedEx terminal on time to organize vehicle and packages
- Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections
- Operate delivery vehicles safely, securely, and competently
- Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the packages, vehicle, or yourself
- Effectively use GPS to arrive at your destinations accurately
- Scanning and logging packages correctly
- Maintain a clean workspace (interior/exterior of delivery vehicle)
Requirements:
- Drivers must be 21 years of age or older
- Drivers must have a valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Drivers must be willing to submit to a background check
- Drivers must be able to physically manage packages up to 150 lbs.
- Drivers must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Drivers must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)
