Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join a leading Company located in the Huntsville, AL surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

**Candidate must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.**

The cybersecurity project manager plans, executes, and monitors cybersecurity projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, on budget, and in compliance with all regulations and security standards. The role requires a blend of technical understanding, project management expertise, and strong coordination and communication abilities. Within OCIO, these projects will include numerous tasks related to technology transition, evolving cybersecurity standards across the government, and implementation of necessary measures to ensure the customer remains in compliance. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and leads team meetings (e.g., daily standups or sprint reviews) to track progress, address blockers, and align on cybersecurity project deliverables. 
  • Monitors project progress and updates dashboards using tools like Jira, MS Project, or Trello to ensure milestones, timelines, and budgets are on track. 
  • Communicates with stakeholders and business units, providing status updates, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment with business and security objectives. 
  • Manages risks, issues, and compliance activities, including maintaining risk logs, supporting audits, and ensuring adherence to standards likeNIST, ISO 27001, orGDPR. 
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to oversee deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure external partners meet security and service standards. 
  • Prepares and delivers project documentation and reports, including status summaries, change requests, and executive-level updates on cybersecurity initiatives. 

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience is neededin project management and oversight, including some technical exposure to cybersecurity projects, to ensure sufficient literacy withcybersecurity toensure success.
